OEE 1.0 to OEE 2.0 Replication/Conversion

The project’s main purpose was to take an existing application in
one facility, adapt its configuration
The project’s main purpose was to take an existing application in
one facility, adapt its configuration and graphics to a new facility,
and convert the application from OEE 1.0 to OEE 2.0. Many facets
of the application needed adjustments due to the different layout of
the two facilities physically. Production Model changes were
necessary which also brought along new tag folder structures and
rebinding of screen graphics to the newly named lines, areas, and
equipment.
The primary motivation for the upgrade was the improvement in the
visualization of downtime data with a new overview screen coupled
with the live analysis collectors. The ability to manage downtime
reasons from the overview screen ensures the accuracy of the
collected data and establishes trust, so reporting that utilizes the
data is also trusted. Leveraging the new analysis components
allowed us to create new profiles that allowed the client to analyze
many aspects of the system without requiring a lot of setup to get
the data in front of them.
