SepaIQ Evolves to a Modular Analytics Platform
SepaIQ was originally designed to solve recurring manufacturing analytics and performance challenges that we saw across customer deployments. The core focus was high-performance analytics that could run independently of SCADA and MES systems without competing for production resources.
Since then, it has expanded into a complete MES Data Platform:
- Centralized data layer for structuring and contextualizing MES data
- Scalable analytics for multi-site and cross-system visibility
- Trusted foundation for responsible AI and LLM initiatives in manufacturing
- The engine powering Sepasoft’s next wave of innovation, including the upcoming Finite Scheduling Module
As capabilities and use cases grew, a modular platform became the clearest way to deliver them.
To reflect this evolution, we have transitioned SepaIQ to a modular architecture. This makes it easier to start small, understand what each part does, and add functionality over time as projects take shape.
Why SepaIQ Is Modular
Most organizations are navigating analytics at very different speeds. Some teams are focused on scaling analytics reliably across sites and systems, while others are already prioritizing machine learning or AI initiatives. These efforts rarely move in lockstep, and it’s common for both to exist within the same organization.
A single bundled solution assumes everyone needs the same capabilities at the same time. A modular approach makes it possible to target the most urgent need and expand as priorities shift.
Breaking SepaIQ into modules makes the product easier to understand and easier to adopt. Each module represents a clear set of functions that can be combined as needed, without committing to everything upfront.
That approach isn’t new for Sepasoft. Sepasoft MES and Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform have always been modular. SepaIQ now follows that same model: buy what you need today, and add on as your requirements grow.
How SepaIQ Is Structured
SepaIQ is organized as a modular platform with a central core and focused solutions layered around it. Each module addresses a specific class of needs and can be adopted independently or combined over time, depending on where teams are in their analytics journey.

At the center is the SepaIQ Platform, surrounded by modules grouped into clear categories:
- Analytics modules for expanding analysis and calculations
- Connector modules for moving data into and out of SepaIQ
- Enterprise modules for governance and structured deployments
- AI modules for predictive analysis and natural-language interaction
This structure makes it easy to begin with what you need today and add capabilities as priorities change.

Pricing and Licensing
SepaIQ modules are primarily offered through an annual subscription model and are licensed per server. The subscription price includes direct access to our support team via web and phone, along with ongoing product updates and new releases.
For customers who prefer perpetual licensing, that option is still available. We continue to support both models so organizations can choose what fits their procurement process and long-term plans.
