What Sepasoft Is Bringing to ICC 2026

Sepasoft is heading back to the Ignition Community Conference (ICC) this September as a Diamond Sponsor, and this year, our focus is clear: connected, realistic scheduling.

ICC 2026 takes place September 22–24, 2026 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in downtown Sacramento. We’re excited to return to the exhibit hall, connect with the Ignition community, and show what Sepasoft is bringing to this year’s event.

Last year, we introduced where Sepasoft MES is headed next, including the growing role of SepaIQ and finite scheduling. This year, we’re taking that conversation from vision to application with live sessions, demos, and hands-on learning focused on how schedules can account for the constraints, priorities, and changes manufacturers deal with every day.

Why Scheduling Takes Center Stage This Year

Planning and execution are often treated as separate parts of the production process. The schedule defines the intent, while operators, supervisors, and MES/SCADA systems respond to what is actually happening on the floor.

The challenge is keeping those two worlds aligned as conditions change. Capacity, materials, labor, changeovers, and production performance can shift throughout the day, but the plan may not reflect those changes until teams manually adjust it.

That is the gap SepaIQ Finite Scheduling is built to address. By using production context from Ignition, MES, and SepaIQ, manufacturers can build schedules around real constraints and make better planning decisions when priorities shift.

At ICC 2026, Sepasoft will show how finite scheduling fits into the Ignition ecosystem and how it can help teams move beyond static planning.

What to Expect from Sepasoft at ICC 2026

Main Session: Finite Capacity Scheduling for Real-World Production

Wed, Sep 23 (Day 2) | 4:00 – 4:45 PM

The real test of a production plan begins the moment a critical material shipment is delayed, a high-speed line hits a bottleneck, or a rush order forces a total reshuffle. Without real-time visibility, a static schedule becomes a liability the second it hits the floor. To stay aligned with execution, manufacturers need a constraint-based model that reflects current production conditions and accounts for plant-floor realities, including labor and material availability, changeover logic, and the dependencies of complex batch processes. Join us to learn how to move beyond best-guess planning with finite capacity scheduling for Ignition-powered operations.

Exhibitor Showcase: Connected Scheduling in the Ignition Ecosystem

Tues, Sep 22 (Day 1) | 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM

What if your schedule could see what Ignition sees? When it comes to finite capacity scheduling, a schedule is only as strong as its understanding of current resources, constraints, and production status. In this demo, Sepasoft will show how real production activity from Ignition and MES can become scheduling context, allowing changing conditions to shape schedule decisions. Join us to see how connecting production data with scheduling can help teams reduce firefighting, improve responsiveness, and stay aligned when the day does not go as planned.

Workshop: High-Powered Scheduling with Ignition

Tues, Sep 22 (Day 1) | 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (lunch included)

Bring flexible, realistic production planning to your Ignition-powered operation. In this live workshop, we’ll explore how scheduling coordinates with SCADA and MES to support more connected, execution-ready planning. Along the way, you’ll learn to account for real-world constraints like equipment, labor, and materials so your schedule is grounded in the reality of your operations. Whether you are coordinating maintenance, production workflows, or more complex operations, you’ll gain hands-on exposure that helps you identify where finite scheduling can add value in your own environment.

Meet Sepasoft at ICC

Between sessions, stop by Booth #16 in the exhibit hall, next to the IA Cafe, to talk through your scheduling challenges, see product demos, and learn how Sepasoft MES, SepaIQ, and Finite Scheduling work together.

Whether you are managing production at a single facility or planning across multiple sites, we’d love to hear what you are working on and show how Sepasoft can support better planning and execution.

Catch Up Before ICC

Before we head back to Sacramento, revisit the ICC 2025 sessions that helped set the stage for this year’s product conversations.

ICC 2025: MES and Beyond | Where Execution Meets Intelligence

Last year’s main session looked at the future of MES and the decisions that shape how well a system can grow, adapt, and connect over time. The session introduced key themes behind SepaIQ, MES 4.0, and SepaIQ Finite Scheduling, including how manufacturers can coordinate resources, apply constraints, and make production data more useful across the enterprise.

ICC 2025: Exhibitor Showcase

Before manufacturers can get reliable answers from AI, they need reliable production data behind it.

In last year’s Exhibitor Showcase, Sepasoft showed how standardized process control and structured MES records create the foundation for trusted analytics, machine learning, and AI-assisted decision-making. The demo connected Ignition, Sepasoft Batch Procedure, and SepaIQ to show how production activity can become context-rich data for predictions, BI, and AI-ready insights.

See You in Sacramento

We’re proud to return to ICC as a Diamond Sponsor and excited to spend this year’s conference focused on one of the biggest planning challenges manufacturers face: building schedules that can adapt when conditions change.

If you’re attending ICC 2026, we hope to see you in Sacramento.
