OEE for Local Leader in Food Sector

Cefalux developed an MES application for a local leader in the food sector to digitize
Cefalux developed an MES application for a local leader in the food sector to digitize and streamline their packaging workflow. The customer sought a solution to enhance efficiency and transparency in their production processes, as well as improve data reliability.
Working closely with the customer, Cefalux automated data collection where possible and developed custom independent applications for production supervisors and line operators to meet their requirements using the Sepasoft OEE Downtime Module with Perspective visualization across different devices.
The customized MES software seamlessly integrated with the customer's existing production workflow, incorporating features such as downtime tracking, changeover procedures, real-time OEE monitoring, dashboards, reports, work order management, and scheduling tools. Everything was deployed without disrupting the existing workflow at the customer's plant.
This has led to significant improvements in data reliability and an almost complete reduction in human errors. Machine stoppages are now automatically flagged, production counts are tracked via counters from the machines, informed decisions are made, and trend identification on the production line has become more straightforward.
