Automated System Works (ASW Group) delivered an integrated
automation and manufacturing execution solution for Profeeds’ new
Automated System Works (ASW Group) delivered an integrated
automation and manufacturing execution solution for Profeeds’ new 20
TPH animal-feed pelleting plant in Zimbabwe.
Using Sepasoft Batch Procedure with Ignition Perspective and Schneider
PLC control, the solution provides recipe-driven production from raw-
material intake through ingredient dosing, mixing, transfer, pelleting and
finished-product bagging. Operators can schedule, start and monitor
batches within a single interface, alongside plant equipment, alarms and
production information.
Sepasoft Electronic Batch Records provide the foundation for custom
batch, production history and raw-material usage reports, giving
production personnel practical access to recorded manufacturing data.
The commissioned system establishes a modern platform for automated
production and centralized process visibility, with provision for future
integration of Profeeds’ existing 12 TPH line.
