Sepasoft Included in 2026 Gartner® Market Guide for MES for Second Consecutive Year
MAY 2026 – EL DORADO HILLS, CA – Sepasoft has been recognized in the 2026 Gartner Market Guide for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This marks Sepasoft’s second consecutive appearance in the guide since Gartner established this specific research format for the MES market in 2025.
Advancing a More Connected, AI-Ready MES Platform
The 2026 MES landscape is shifting toward more flexible, open platforms as manufacturers look for practical ways to apply AI, improve productivity, and connect production systems. Sepasoft continues to invest in a modular MES platform designed to support real-time intelligence, system interoperability, and future AI-enabled use cases.
“Our continued inclusion in the Gartner Market Guide validates our commitment to building a future-proof ecosystem,” said Tony Nevshemal, CEO of Sepasoft. “By aligning our roadmap with the industry’s need for low-code adaptability and secure AI integration, we’re ensuring our customers aren’t just collecting data, they’re acting on it.”
Recent Sepasoft Product Developments
Since the previous guide was published, Sepasoft has introduced significant advancements that address the core market needs for smarter, more connected manufacturing:
- Finite Capacity Scheduling: Expected in summer 2026, Sepasoft’s new Finite Scheduling module will help manufacturers build more realistic production schedules around real operational constraints, including equipment capacity, labor, materials, changeovers, and task dependencies. By connecting scheduling with current production conditions, the module is designed to help planners evaluate scenarios, adjust to disruptions, and keep schedules aligned with execution.
- SepaIQ Manufacturing Analytics Platform: Sepasoft has updated SepaIQ with a more modular structure and new enterprise functionality designed to help manufacturers scale analytics across teams, projects, and sites. SepaIQ turns raw production data into contextualized intelligence for advanced analytics, custom calculations, machine learning, and performance improvement, while enterprise capabilities support access control, organized project resources, consistent deployment workflows, and change tracking.
- Enhanced Batch Orchestration: Recent updates to the Batch Procedure Module strengthen Sepasoft’s workflow-centric approach to production orchestration. New capabilities such as Batch Execution Points give manufacturers more flexibility to start, pause, resume, or redirect procedures at defined points, while Permissive Start Conditions help coordinate batch execution with current equipment readiness.
- Enterprise-Scale Change Management: With the introduction of Changesets, Sepasoft gives teams a structured way to bundle, review, validate, and deploy MES updates across environments and sites, helping large organizations manage system changes with greater consistency and control.
