I am attempting to use the online documentation to figure out what methods in the object model to utilize to accomplish various tasks for my project. Unfortunately the documentation seems to be written by someone who thoroughly knows the software FOR someone who thoroughly knows the software. There is not enough detail in the documentation for much of the object model to really be able to discern what methods, properties, parameters, etc. to use, or when and how to use them. An understanding of OOP, Ignition, python, and other related tools is needed, but someone who has those should be able to utilize the documentation to determine how, and with what parts, to accomplish a task. Currently the documentation, specifically surrounding Track and Trace, is not at that level.
